Mesa combines artistic, modern, sexy and Southern California cool effortlessly. With a full range of locally sourced dishes by Executive Chef Niki Starr Weyler, complemented by a vibrant selection of cocktails from Mixologist Eliot Montero, boutique wines, and California craft beers, this Costa Mesa lounge offers its guests the opportunity to enjoy a sophisticated yet sultry ambiance. The evening can take place under the famous indoor Dragon Tree or by a candlelit private table.  Mesa’s electic venue provides the perfect space for a private party or a spontaneous night out.




Faction Tuesdays at Mesa


Chef Niki Starr Weyler offers an expansive menu that features small plates, full entrées, and light salads and sides allowing guests to design their own dining experience. Sample dishes include:

Ahi Tuna Tacos with avocado, sriracha aïoli, citrus ponzu, and green onion served in watermelon radish “shells”

Pork Belly Pan seared on top of crispy rice cake and Frisee, Pork Rasperry Reduction, and Micro Greens

Roasted Beet Salad Humboldt Fog Goat Cheese, Pistachio Dust, Citrus Segments, and a Prosecco Vinaigrette.

Fresh Steelhead Salmon with Roasted Cauliflower, Confit Carrots, and a Stone Ground Mustard Seed Buree Blanc.






Mesa’s barman Eliot Montero has crafted each signature cocktail to blend a little innovation with flavorful fresh fruit juices and premium spirits.  Alongside a selection of curated wines, Champagne, and West Coast beers on draft. Sample drinks include:

Little Dragon, Ketel One Oranje, Lemon Juice, House Ginger Syrup, Blackberries, Key Lime Foam, and Mint

Control Machete, Resposado Tequila, Honey, Lime,  Pineapple, Ginger Simple Syrup, and Aromatic Bitters

Bauhaus Tonic, Hendrick’s Small Batch Gin, Cucumber Muddle, Fresh Lime Juice, Tonic Water, and Burnt Thyme

Mesa’s atmosphere is artistic, dim, rich and vibrant.The “dragon tree” provides the focal point of Mesa’s candle-lit interior. With elegantly understated wooden tables, varnished counter bar-side seating, and an electric atmosphere all its own,  A retractable roof lets in ocean breezes and an unparalleled view of the stars.
